Hard work pays off, maybe not in the moment, but owning a service business is a long-game. I know that calligraphy is a “nice-to-have” in many cases, not a “need-to-have,” so I make it my priority to make the buying experience with Calligraphy by Danielle next to none. How do I do this?
Helping brides pick up their calligraphy on their schedule, no matter how unconventional. 9p on a Tuesday? Truthfully, I’m likely to be in bed then, but I can make it happen.
Did my customer provide Table numbers written on the spreadsheet provided to me for name cards? How about I order them by table when I’m finished as part of my editing process and make dividers so that my customers can easily take them to the event and hand them off to the coordinator without a second thought?
The details matter. Going the extra mile might take a little bit longer, but I guarantee my customers will feel as good about the service they receive as their final product.
